CAMP FLIGHT 2026
Bronzeville, Albany Park (MoM), Evanston, Maywood
flight
noun
pronunciation: /flīt/
In the context of Camp Flight, a curated array of experiential opportunities that introduces young people to multiple disciplines, industries, and ways of thinking. A flight offers samples rather than a single track, allowing participants to explore interests, build foundational skills, and connect present choices to future quality of life.
A structured progression of experiences that supports growth in attention, confidence, discipline, and imagination through hands-on learning, reflection, and guided practice.
Camp Flight is entering its fourth year and will operate across four locations. Families should be sure to register for the correct site when enrolling. While final planning is being completed at each site, registration is open for families ready to join a well-conceptualized summer program with a proven culture of safety, engagement, belonging, health, and quality of life.
Camp Flight runs from June 8 through August 21, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We serve three age groups in small cohorts of 15 to 20 students: grades 2–3, 4–5, and 6–8. Lunch is not provided.
Rest assured, our aim is to please while keeping campers deeply engaged and supported, helping them make real connections between who they are right now and who they may become in the future. “Flight” reflects our philosophy: an intentional array of experiences that introduce youth to disciplines and industries that can one day support the quality of life they hope to build.
Safety, care, and belonging are non-negotiable. Camp Flight is air-quality aware, allergy-informed, and strict in its adherence to health and safety protocols. We maintain a strong culture of belonging and anti-bullying, where respect, accountability, and care for one another are actively practiced. Our instructor and guide to camper ratios are high, approximately three to five adults per group of fifteen campers, because engagement and guidance matter. Young people are seen, supported, and coached throughout the day.
